Shoes for Caving Tours
All caving participants are required to wear lace-up shoes or boots, rubber shoes or aqua shoes with good grip. When caving, you may encounter loose rocks, mud, dirt and areas where it may be particularly slippery.
We Provide
We supply you with the specialist gear including quality touring kayaks, buoyancy aid, and dry bag for your camera, CE Certified Caving helmet and headlamp.
We Give
Our guides will snap your pictures and the sceneries throughout the journey. So by the end of the trip, we will send you the album link for you to immortalize your adventure in Semadang.
Pickup & Dropff
All our guided tour packages include pick-up and drop-off to your accommodation within Kuching city centre unless stated otherwise.
Important Information
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. No refund will be given in the event of the following: • Less than 48 hours’ notice • No show or late for departure • Staffs deem a client not suitable to participate due to ill health, intoxication or poor level of fitness. Semadang Kayak reserves the right to cancel or change any part of any kayaking trip or the outdoor activities. This could be due to, but not limited to, river, road or weather conditions. If WE cancel the trip due to such reasons we will give you a full refund.
Adventure Packages
All packages are based on a join-in basis of shared guide and transportation. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making your bookings.
Pickup & Dropoff Outside Kuching
Extra surcharge applies if pick-up or drop-off in Damai Resorts / Santubong Resorts. If you decide to self-drive to Semadang Village, please meet your guide at Kampung Semadang at the departure time stated on your booking confirmation.
Departure Time
Departure time is approximate and may vary due to traffic conditions and hotel distance. Kindly check with the operator as stated on the voucher should you need further assistance.
Weather
Kuching is the wettest populated area (on average) in Malaysia with an average of 247 rainy days per year. The wettest times are during the North-East Monsoon of November to February and the dry season starts from June till August. The average temperature is around 24 °C in the early hours of the morning and rises to around 32 °C during mid-afternoon. This temperature stays almost constant throughout the year.
